Pre Achilles Rupture Videos

So last year (2020) Liam and I started skating, both longboarding and at the skatepark, we were having a blast, not necessarily great at it but having fun till one morning coming off my deck at the skatepark in a motion that was not at all jarring but was the straw that broke the camels back my Achilles Tendon ruptured letting go completely leaving a void above my heal where I could place my thumb in that used to contain my tendon…

At the same time we started playing around with video’s, shooting on my Huawei P20 Pro phone camera and on an older GoPro Session (one of the old cubes)

These are a couple of the videos that resulted pre injury…. and for the record I’m now back on the deck (albeit with caution) getting going with the skating again.
