Full Ride of Narrows Peninsula Trail – PA National Park

Camping around Waskesui the park is always wonderful, this past May long weekend (2021) was no exception, or maybe it was an exception as the wildlife was abundant and the trails were quiet as the weather was cooler than most like and the threat of rain kept them away.

Getting up there early on the Friday meant the Elk were still in town, with about a dozen of them grazing a block from my campsite, I drove into the park and within seconds saw a beautiful black bear cross the road and run off into the brush, on another occasion I had an opportunity to sit and take some photos of a cute little red fox who really looked like he wanted to come home with me.

Anyways this post is to show you the Narrows Peninsula Trail – the full thing in real time which runs about 19 minutes which might have been shorter if this hadn’t been my second ride of the day and I’d been out paddling as well (that video will be next).

One of the things I find difficult as a father of 4 boys is juggling having gear for everyone to be able to be active of sufficient quality that we don’t have to fear destroying it, or having a miserable performance from it every time we go out while balancing the expense of that gear… the great challenge of good performance, durability and budget trying to hit all three is a challenge.
